Gionee M6 Plus is more or less like the Gionee M6 with a bigger display and a bigger battery. The smartphone offers a 6.0-inch Display and a massive 6020 mAh Li-Po Battery. Gionee M6 Plus also features an SoC with more powerful processors and offers a better camera.

The M6 Plus is the successor of the Gionee M5 Plus.

The Design, Display, and Camera

The Gionee M6 Plus shares the same premium design as its smaller sibling. It offers a metal design with a 6.0-inch AMOLED Display. Gionee keeps the screen resolution at 1080 x 1920 pixels.

Gionee M6 Plus sports a 16 megapixels camera on the back with dual-LED flash and autofocus. On the front, the smartphone offers an 8 megapixels camera.

Hardware and Software

Gionee M6 Plus runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) on Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 SoC. The chipset offers a 2.0GHz quad-core processor and a 1.0GHz quad-core processor. The Android phone comes with 4GB RAM in two variants with 64GB or 128GB storage.

Gionee M6 Plus sports a 6020 mAh Li-Po Battery with reverse charging. It features a dedicated security chip that encrypts your data and communications. Gionee M6 Plus also comes with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Fingerprint Sensor, and Infra-Red port. It however lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and availability

Gionee M6 Plus is not yet available in Nigeria or Kenya. The 64GB variant is priced at 2,999 CNY while the 128GB variant is priced at 3,199 CNY and will launch on August 6 in China and in India on August 13. We currently have no data on pricing and availability for Nigeria or Kenya. When available, Gionee M6 Plus Price in Nigeria is expected to range from 140,000 to 190,000 Naira, depending on your location in the country. Price in Kenya is expected at around 47,000 KSh.
